Is PDL painful?

No anesthesia is required for PDL as the machine produces a cold spray just before the laser pulse, diminishing the sensation of pain. The treatment only takes a few minutes and is performed during an outpatient clinic visit.

Is there any downtime with PDL?

Downtime is generally minimal. The most common side effect is bruising which usually clears within 3 to 10 days.
