Dr. Brent Sloten, DO, is a distinguished board-certified dermatologist with over 22 years of experience in surgical and general dermatology in Arizona. His commitment to providing exceptional dermatological care with kindness and compassion is the foundation of his practice.
Dr. Sloten's academic career began at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He subsequently continued his medical studies at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.
His postgraduate training included a pivotal internship at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York, followed by a dermatology residency at Western University of Health Sciences. During his residency, he gained valuable experience at the University of Arizona, the Phoenix VA Hospital, and the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale. Additionally, Dr. Sloten is an adjunct clinical professor at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
After completing his training, Dr. Sloten established a successful private practice in Mesa, Arizona. Now, after 22 years of dedication in Mesa, he is excited to join Dr. Fathi at Phoenix Surgical Dermatology Group. Dr. Sloten looks forward to continuing to provide exceptional dermatological care to his patients in this new and dynamic environment.
